Formula Student
Formula SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers) has been organized for more than 40 years among universities. In this engineering competition, students from many countries design and manufacture small single-seater formula-type race cars. Formula SAE pushes students to apply classroom knowledge to a real-world project. There are four categories: Internal Combustion, Hybrid, Electric and Driverless.
Who Are We?
IZTECH RACING Formula Student Team was founded on 15 October 2024 at Izmir Institute of Technology. Our aim is to design and manufacture an FSAE-type car funded by sponsors and represent our country and institute in Formula Student / Formula SAE—considered the world’s most prestigious engineering competition for students—starting with Formula Student Spain 2026.
